Erin joined Pierce & Shearer LLP’s San Mateo office in September 2009.  She is a Bay Area native and earned her J.D. from Santa Clara University, graduating cum laude (top 10%) in 2009.   In 2006, Erin graduated with Honors from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. 

During law school, Erin was the recipient of the Herman Levy Endowed Scholarship for Commitment to Employment Law and the CALI Award in Employment Discrimination.  Further, Erin served as an Articles Editor for the Santa Clara Law Review.  Her article, Third-Party Liability for Violations of the Law of Nations: Apply International Law, Domestic Standards, or Law of the Situs?, was published in the fall of 2008 in Vol. 49 of the Santa Clara Law Review.

Erin is an active volunteer with the Katherine and George Alexander Community Law Center in San Jose.  Erin began her involvement with the Law Center during law school focusing primarily on wage and hour laws, employment discrimination, and unemployment insurance eligibility.

Erin resides in San Jose, California with her husband.
