In 2001, Stacy earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi, Legal Honors Fraternity.  In 1997, she received her B.A. in Sociology from Arizona State University where she was a member of Alpha Kappa Delta, Sociology Honors Fraternity.

Stacy has extensive experience in business law, including representation of clients enmeshed in commercial disputes, whether litigated in court, arbitration proceedings, or resolved through mediation or settlement negotiations.  Stacy handles disputes between shareholders, members, or partners in closely held businesses; enforcement and defense of non-compete and other restrictive covenants arising out of employment contracts or shareholder agreements; prosecution and defense of fraudulent transfer claims; and enforcement and defense of interests under commercial loan agreements and guaranties.  Stacy's practice also focuses on employment issues, including counseling clients on every facet of the employer-employee relationship, such as hiring practices, the establishment of personnel policies, compensation issues, and layoffs and terminations.  Stacy represents clients in litigation matters, including, wrongful discharge and termination claims; benefits litigation involving wage and hour issues, unpaid commissions, vacation pay, severance pay; contract and labor disputes; unfair competition and trade secrets; sexual harassment; and whistleblower retaliation cases.  Stacy also represents insureds in coverage disputes.

Prior to working with Pierce & Shearer LLP, Stacy was an associate at Dillingham & Murphy, LLP.  She is admitted to practice in both Arizona and California.
